There will be updates soon.

There will be more posts to this blog soon about recent activity at the hacienda. Some of the youth from Twickenham returned recently from a mission trip to help with on-going construction. We should have posts soon from them about there trip.

Jay will be helping with the admin work on this blog and on the main site.
Cynthia will be adding posts soon.
Alisa will be updating the main site http://www.haciendaofhope.org
Jerry will, hopefully, be able to post updates directly from the hacienda.

One more thing, the blog provides an RSS feed that you can use to see the headlines from your bookmarks menu or other tools. Using the FireFox browser, you can add an RSS bookmark by simply clicking on the orange icon in the status bar at the bottom of the browser window while you are on this site.

Comments:
A big "Thanks" to David for a great idea and for all of his time in making this tool a great way to communicate. I am hopeful that many will discover and use this site.

Several of our kids are sick with a cold and Lorena spent most of yesterday and today in bed. Pat and I took her a huge bunch of pink roses this afternoon to bring some cheer to her room and a bright smile to her face.

Hugo, Jenny and their family had to travel to Columbia yesterday to get all of their passports stamped. It was a requirement that they spend at least 24 hours out of Ecuador inside another country in order to get their visas renewed. Since Columbia was our closest choice, they went there. They returned a few hours ago and were very tired from the bus trip and extremly glad to be back at home!

Our hearts are so bright and happy to hear the wonderful news about the results of our "Bridges to Tomorrow" campaign so far.

Please be in prayer about others who will be a part of this much needed effort. We are looking forward to recieving our next children as God timing permits. Please continue your prayers in that regard.

Patricia helped me to shovel dirt this morning and is very tired tonight!

Thanks in advance to everyone who uses this blog to bring honor to God in service to Him! ...Jerry
